Kali Ma
The Indian Goddess Kali Ma is known within Hinduism as the Great Mother Creator and Destroyer of all. She is the consort of Lord Shiva, and a Goddess of time and karmic redemption. She is womb and the tomb of the cosmos, who stories tell of her slaying demons, protecting us from evil. She liberates by “beheading” the little ego, and “severing attachments” to materialism, so we may evolve into enlightenment.
