The Pentacle Path of Elemental Witchraft Altar Card 4”x6”

$5.00

Pentacle Path of Elemental Witchcraft altar card in color on both sides of high-quality matte cardstock, 4” × 6”. Original art by Heron Michelle.

“I created this image as a visual map of the Pentacle Path and the Great Work of Elemental Witchcraft. At its center stands the Witch, embodied at the crossroads of heavens, earth, and underworld, Moon and Sun, Goddess and God, receptive and projective. Around them, the sacred geometry, World Tree, elemental symbols, and Kerubic guardians reveal the architecture of the five-fold self and our continuing work toward balance, empowerment, and wholeness.” — Heron Michelle

Newly redesigned in 2026, this altar card was created to accompany the system, dedication rite, and practices taught in Heron Michelle’s Elemental Witchcraft: A Guide to Living a Magickal Life Through the Elements. It serves as the central map and connection point for the companion Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Great Goddess, and Great God altar cards.

The Pentacle Path of Elemental Witchcraft

The Pentacle Path is a system of Elemental Witchcraft through which we seek balance and empowerment within the wholeness of our five-fold self. Each element governs a distinct body of experience and offers both a projective and receptive mystery to cultivate. Through Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, we walk the Paths of Sovereignty, Truth, Power, and Love; through Spirit, these powers are reconciled upon the Path of Completion.

At the center stands the Witch, embodied within the Vesica Piscis, the sacred “Eye of God” formed where the spheres of God/Heaven and Goddess/Underworld intersect to create the manifest Middle World. Here, the Witch becomes the meeting place between above and below, within and without, spirit and matter.

Through the center grows the World Tree, the Axis Mundi, joining Heaven, Middle World, and Underworld. Its five great branches reach toward the Sun while five roots descend toward the Moon, echoing the five-fold pattern of the pentacle. Each divides threefold, reflecting the cardinal, fixed, and mutable phases through which every cycle of manifestation unfolds.

Behind the Witch stands the Witch’s Jewel of Power, expressed through the sacred geometry of the octahedron of Divine Mind. Its four middle vertices bear the alchemical symbols of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, while Sun and Moon establish the projective and receptive poles above and below. Divine energy flows between Sun and Moon, God and Goddess, Heaven and Underworld, passing through the World Tree and the embodied Witch in an unbroken circuit between Spirit and matter.

The border is guarded by the four Kerubic creatures of the Fixed Signs: the Bull of Taurus, Water-Bearer of Aquarius, Lion of Leo, and Eagle of Scorpio. Together, they anchor the elemental mysteries of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water around the central mystery of Spirit.

The Five Paths

Earth — Sovereignty
Power to Be Silent • Power to Resonate

Air — Truth
Power to Know • Power to Wonder

Fire — Power
Power to Will • Power to Surrender

Water — Love
Power to Dare • Power to Accept

Spirit — Completion
Perfect Love • Perfect Trust • Harm None • Do As Ye Will

As Above, So Below. As Within, So Without.
