Cerridwen Candle Sticker
7” x 7” vinyl sticker. Sized to wrap around a standard seven day jar candle. These stickers are translucent, allowing the light of the candle to shine softly through as it burns. A yellow or gold candle is recommended.
Origins: Celtic, Wales
Symbols: Cauldron, Full Moon, Grain, White Sow, Sickle, Awen
Keywords: Intuition, Discernment, Curiosity, Patience
“In The Tale of Taliesin, Cerridwen brews a potion of wisdom from countless herbs, gathered and steeped for a year and a day. Her cauldron represents the gift of curiosity: each leaf, root, name, fact, all collected into a single vessel. Yet the potion becomes true inspiration only through fire, patience, and transformation. Her symbols are the cauldron, ever-stirred; the white sow, the grain that she planted to feed her family. Cerridwen’s epithets include Goddess of Inspiration, Keeper of Awen, and White Lady of the Cauldron… Traditional offerings to her include grains, herbs, milk, mead, and songs or poems dedicated to her. Her sacred herbs — mugwort, vervain, and sage — recall her craft as herbalist and sorceress. Stones of amethyst, fluorite, and agate align with her teaching of mental clarity and inspiration. Her colors are silver, white, and pale blue, reflecting the moonlit shimmer of her cauldron. ” ~ Heron Michelle
