Cerridwen

Cerridwen is the Welsh goddess of inspiration, wisdom, transformation, rebirth, and sacred mystery. In The Tale of Taliesin, Cerridwen brews a potion of wisdom from countless herbs, gathered and steeped for a year and a day. Her cauldron represents the gift of curiosity: each leaf, root, name, fact, all collected into a single vessel. Yet the potion becomes true inspiration only through fire, patience, and transformation. Through her mysteries of death, gestation, and rebirth, she teaches that wisdom is earned through experience, patience, and profound inner transformation. Cerridwen’s epithets include Goddess of Inspiration, Keeper of Awen, and White Lady of the Cauldron.
