Her name translates to “Divine Mind.” Athena represents honorable strength — justice, craftsmanship, civilization, and protection. She is a patroness of heroes, artisans, and civic life, guiding both the valor of the warrior and the artistry of the maker. Her symbols express this duality: the owl, with piercing vision in darkness; the olive tree, gift of peace and prosperity; the aegis, her shield bearing the Gorgoneion, warding off evil; and her spear and helmet, emblems of readiness and defense.
